Thought I'd give this guide of how to post pictures for the semi-retarded people on this forum.Maybe this should be moved to General Forum or something.
If you want to take a picture of your screen or a window open on your screen, you need a PrtScn button. On my keyboard it's on the top to the right of my F keys and above "Home". If you don't have one you are probably fucked. To take a picture of just one window press Alt + PrtScn. Then open up MS Paint and press Ctrl + v and it'll paste your picture in. If you don't have MS Paint you will have some programme like it. If you don't you can download some off the internet for free probably. Save your picture. I tend to save mine as .bmp files, but probably .gif or .jpeg are better, I don't really care. All the picture-hosting sites will take them all anyway. The main difference is that they make files with more or less detail (which isn't noticeable usually; it might be with photos of people and things) and take up more or less space on your computer.
Either use Imageshack or Photobucket. It's quicker to use Imageshack but once you've gone away from the website you can't paste your picture again unless you copy down all the urls you use. Also with Imageshack photos if you put the cursor over them and left-click they link back to Imageshack which is shit. Photobucket pictures are solid and do nothing when you hover over them. Also, don't use the actual picture function of this forum. It's more trouble than it's worth. Here is my easy guide to using Imageshack and Photobucket. Firstly, Imageshack:
Go to the website, Imageshack (favouriting it is good).
Then select "Browse". You can also check the "url" box above it if you want to host a picture from a website. (The best way to do this is to google the picture you want, then select "Show picture in own window" or something like that. If you put any random website name in the url bit, you could get any or no picture.)
Select the picture that you want. The box should open up in "My Pictures", but if it doesn't you can navigate to it, or wherever the picture is that you want to host.
Press "host it!" and it will upload your picture, and go to a new screen. Scroll down to the bottom, and select the url in the "Hotlink for forums (1)" section. Untick the "Include details" box because that just includes some bullshit in the url about the name of the file etc.
When you have it selected, press Ctrl + c so it's copied to your clipboard. Then come onto this forum and paste it straight into the textbox with your other text, not using the mountain button at all. It automatically has the right commands.
Then you will be successful in posting a picture from Imageshack like this one.
I'm using Photobucket to host all these pictures, except the one above (as you can see from one of the above pictures), because it is better. To use that go to the website, Photobucket, and you'll need to sign up for an account which you probably know how to do. Get it to log you in automatically and whenever you go to the link in future you'll go straight to your own account.
As you can see, you can access all of the pictures you have already uploaded. If you want to upload something new, go to "Browse", and it opens up the same as Imageshack into your My Pictures folder. You can upload lots of pictures at once on Photobucket, but it takes longer. Once it's finished uploading, it might give you some bullshit like asking you to give the file a name, and clipping it etc. Just skip this, or better yet tell it not to give you this bullshit ever again, and you will get back to your original screen and your new picture will be the newest addition.
Go to the picture you want and select the url in the IMG Code section. When you select it, it instantly says "Copied" but that doesn't work for me, so I press Ctrl + c anyway. Paste the picture straight into here, as you could see I'd done a few pictures ago.
And there you have it.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. If you have F Lock on then the PrtScn won't work. Or at least it doesn't for me.
