Default A sit and go hand

Ok a friend of mine was playing last night and wanted some advice on this hand. I was in shock when he told me.

IMO this is so easy its unreal.

6 handed $20 ghey and go

We are chipleader with 5000 chippys we got from playing basic ABC poker.

We are also a bit of a n00b and we min raise to 400 (blinds 100/200 obv) with KK on the CO

    SB shoves for 2200

BB tanks for a bit then shoves for 4200.

SB + BB are basic ghey and go players

    Our decision???

    I'd insta-call.

Even if the 2200 has you beat, cos player#2 tanked you are ahead of him and even if you come second in the hand you'll break even but will have taken out a player.

    Obvious call. Did he fold??

BTW is the pre-flop min-raise actually that daft? 3x might be optimal to hopefully prevent 2 flat-callers, but it did manage to induce the shove from the short stack which is obv good news.

Anyhow, as Tom says the bigger stack tanked so we must be ahead!! No-brainer.

Why do we even have topics like this?? Obviously the story of this topic is that one of them had AA and beat him, but nobody's going to be scared into thinking folding KK is the right move by this story.

In that case I think perhaps he should fold the KK. One of the first lessons you should learn as an aspiring poker player is that KK is not the nuts. You need a good read on the other players here IMO. Unless you have notes about how they played their last 10 games I think you're forced to fold here.
