I find it a little depressing that I played low stakes STTs for ages and ages when money was so freely available as this. The run-up to this hand was that this guy hadn't been particularly psychotic at all. I had been on the table for 23 hands prior to this one, and every one I had folded, most pre-flop, and hence I am 12 BB down.

I considered the possibility that he knew I was slow-playing a monster and figured he could make some quick cash by pushing and have his AA beat my KK/QQ, but in the end this is just too unlikely IMO. It will happen sometimes I suppose but overall this was an insta-call for me. I still haven;t worked out why people make these stupid pre-flop min-raises out of position. I've seen them do it with good and rubbish hands. The average hand people do this with is obviously slightly better than the average hand (Q7) but it really isn't very much better IMO.
