Default all within half an hour of each other!!

I never won one all in...make of betfair poker what you will...

I've just sat down on 7 tables on betfair poker, and played for exactly 41 minutes and lost 12 buy ins. Fucking 12 BUYINS!!

Every single buy in was lost all in on the flop when I either had a set vs flush draw, full house vs two pair...

    I had 77, flop was A A 7, he had A9, turn was Q, river was Q....etc.

Seriously, I was ahead for every single all in at the flop, is it possible to lose 12 buy ins in succession like that?

This is a rant but I am now convinced betfair poker, something seriously wrong with the software when you go all in on the flop...

To prove it, I am going to play on small stakes and go all in on the flop with any open ended straight draws and any flush draws. PLay it 10 times and report back, because I am now convinced betfair's software is flawed.

If you don't push on the flop, or they don't , then the end results seem normal, but when there is two cards to go, more than half of the time, a draw or chasing hand seems to hit...

You have just shown that it is possible

I used to think that the software had pre determined a player that will win if he/she stays in the hand no matter what 2 hole cards they have.
I still rant sometimes to a friend saying it's all fixed but you only have to look at live games to see that it happens there too.

Maybe you should not be all in on the flop and see the turn/river once in a while. If you are answering an all-in bet then that is harsh being sucked out on so many times but if you are pushing the all-in you are playing a risky game.

Sorry to hear your running bad jjh, sucks to lose that much that quicky when you're the favorite each time you put the money in.

This hand is not such a terrible beat. I know it feels that way, but you will lose a hand like this once every 4.5 times you find yourself in this situation. Statistically AA losing to a lower pair is a worse beat and that seems to happen in every tournament I ever play!

I know that doesn't help much, but what you are going through is pretty normal. Just keep your head up and it will turn around for you i'm sure.
Walking away is easy. The hard part is standing up.

Cheers, just out of interest, I went to the very low stakes and pushed all in whenever I flopped a flush draw just to test it.

Unfortunately waiting for a flush draw to flop takes ages Out of about 250 hands, I got 5 people all in when I held a flush draw.

Although, I made my flush 3/5 times (everytime on the river) Obviously that is a very small sample (although two of the times I hit the flush the opponent had flopped a set) so I'd suggest to anyone playing on betfair poker, don't rush to get all in if there is a flush draw on the table, even though in the long term you're supposed to be big favourite...I honeslty believe there is some kind of error in their software when a pot is all in the cards are shown...

My record with flopped sets all in on flop vs flush draw is diabolical and nowhere near does my set hold up 70% of the time.

It would be good if you could ask pokertracker to find all hands were I flopped a set vs flush draw and went all in on the flop just to see the real percentages.

Woody, I agree, the A A 7 flop bad beat isn't that bad, although when it happens in succession on one particular site, again and again, it is annoying.

One of them I had KK and made the set on the flop, I'd re raised 20BB pre flop bear in mind... He re raised my flop bet all in so had no choice but to call. He held 8h 5h and completely effortlessly hits the hearts on the river and doubles up and I'm left thinking...wtf man??

Last post about poker now, I'm quitting the game for good. I don't see how I can carry on with these swings, I'm just not cut out for it. My hat goes off to anyone who can take the bad months when the bad beats are relentless.

Moved down a level to $0.25/$0.50 and decided to play a TAG game just one table...just to build my confidence a bit...

Here's the hand. Before you cuss my call, this guy was very loose aggressive, I'd been at the table for a while and he was likely to push with A 9 here, and the $4 re raise to me signified he had nothing- if he had held a big one, I'd have re raised the pot at least.

The only mistake I made was just raising 4BB, but I was playing a very tight game and any bigger scares everyone off completely. This hands sums up online poker for me though...

Having just lost 12 all ins in succession at 0.50/1.0, I move down and what can I make of that?

It's not the worst bad beat ever by a mile, but it is the other player that just dumbfounds me completely. I've re raised him 24BB, he's hardly got anything in the pot with his $4 re raise to justify a raise all in, how can he push his entire stack there when it is blatantly obvious I've got a pocket pair?

Would any fold kings there to a loose aggressive?

Now hunt that guy down and sit on his table.

These are the players we all want to go up against at this level.

Don't let it get you down.

Mate, you'd think that was the case but these guys are consistently kicking my ass- I'd just lost 12 buy ins similarly when this clown pushes his stack on a draw!!

Just been speaking to a friend and he was talking about, for example, if you play 1,000 hands, then you're paying 250BB so you need to be winning 250BB every 1,000 hands you play just to breaking even over that period. Throw in the rake and you're doing well long term to break even.

So that is bad enough and when I get 13 all ins for full stacks and not one holds up, if you convert the odds to say sports betting, there's no way on earth 13 odds on shots will lose in succession, it just doesn't happen in real life.

I don't trust the betfair poker software and with that frame of mind, it's time to quit and stick to sports betting where I feel at least I'm getting a fair chance.
