Wow. The cherry on top would have been for a player to show a Q/7 after the JJ was shown.
On a ten handed table, the odds of 3 or more people having a pocket pair is roughly 10-1.
The odds of the first person flopping a set is 8-1.
The odds of the second person is 25-2
The odds of the 3rd person catching theirs is 25-1
Multiply all these together and you get a nice round figure of 25,000-1 for 3 players to flop 3 sets on a ten handed table.
Was all the chips in on the flop?
They all probably thought sweet when they hit their sets and when the 9 came down they all probably thought a straight would win
