new article posted today on slashdot about new MSNBC. I am sure many people are following this story anyway of course I just wonder how much damage it will do to trust in online gambling once it all comes to light

Shocking stuff. Even more shocking that Absolute completely denied everything until the poker community provided irrefutable truth. How anyone can ever trust that site again I don't know. However, believe it or not, their traffic on the poker room hasn't gone down at all. Just as many people are playing there as before the scandal. So, let me see if I understand this right: Absolute shafts it's customers, denies any knowledge of it, and the customers forgive them despite it being proved to be true?!... This is madness!

Yeah but the so called 'proof' has only come to light in the last coupel of days and no real sources cept a bunch of hackers/geeks as the media are calling it..
Once some official investigation takes place I doubt they will be so lucky Wasnt this a $1000 buy in with 700 odd players?.. lot of money
