Advice Please

What do you do if dealt AA or KK in the first hand of what you thought was going to be a couple of hours entertaining poker tournament? (Early position as well)
a) shove and hope,
b) play normally and raise 3x or 4x
c) limp
d) fold (after all you've your cup of tea, or can of beer, your cigarettes, clean ashtray, unplugged the phone, etc etc etc)

If you choose b), as I just did, and someone after you shoves, do you:
a) call
b) fold (cup of tea etc as above)?

If you choose a), as I just did, and Villain has Ax os, your kings don't hold, and Villain pairs his Ace on the river do you:
a) shrug philosophically and sigh "that's poker"
b) THROW ALL OF YOUR TOYS OUT OF THE PRAM AND BREAK YOUR KEYBOARD (as I just did)?

Just thought I'd say that if its a low stakes tourney, shoving all in 1st hand with AA isn't that wrong as you will get people calling with AK, AQ, AJ, A10, any A basically, KK, QQ, JJ, 1010, lower PP's etc, any other random crap that they think might win perhaps because "they're sooooted"

But generally I would raise 3-5x blinds, not fold to a shove, call them a donk when they beat me and break my keyboard

raise 4x, call a shove, fire up another tournament if i bust, perhaps typing nh, wp, gg, gfy as i leave previous tournament.

My standard raise is 3x or 3.5x, however I think that firstly, if you're raising UTG with any hand, you need to make it a bit more (4x-4.5x) simply because people around the table like to have position on you (so often the person on my immediate left calls my big raises and they turn out to have nothing), plus as Citrus says, this is the first hand of a tournament and there are a lot of donks about, but even better, you actually look like one of the donks just because you're making a raise. I'd expect to get action on this hand with a 7x to 10x raise. If you get knocked out, unlucky, time to move on.

Early in a tourney I'd just play it like I would in a cash game.

5 BB raise and play it from there. If I am re raised then I push.

Just hope half the table doesn't call

KK is so not a hand that I would lay down pre flop in or out of position, yeah (b) would be my move so I would certainly raise pre flop by 4x to try and take others out of the hand and like Citrus said and backed up by Dice Man you know your getting action with it being the 1st hand.

Like I said KK is not a hand I would lay down so yeah if someone shoved I would call the bet, Their A fecks my KK on the river and looking at what they shoved with I'd call them a jammie git, wish all gl and move on to another game where I would do the exactly the same if the situation was to arise again....
