preflop raise followed by a very heavy drawing flop means any set or 2 pair is gonna bet out heavy to kill the hand there and then, in a cash game i'd call/raise but in a tourney at that stage probably not

I mean wouldn't AA-QQ, AK all RR PF? Wouldn't JJ, QT check raise AI? I just don't get leading here over check raising with a good hand, especially with such a big bet in a spot it's clear we have a ton of fold equity.
