Can't Download any Poker Sites, can anyone help?

Hi all

I bought a new laptop a few weeks ago - Vista Premium addition.

I happily started downloading poker sites, so far: Virgin, poker.co.uk, betfred, pokerstars, absolute and betfair.

Today I have tried to download william hill, purple lounge and paradise poker and although the box comes up and it goes through the process of downloading it, when it colmes to the box where I click "run or open", I click it and the box disappears and then nothing happens at all.

Can anyone tell me if this is a Vista thing (are some sites not compatible with it) or do I have problems with my computer/security settings? I downloaded all the others mentined above a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any problems at all, so am not sure why this should now happen. Can anyone help?

When you go to download the software make sure you click "save as" and save the installation to your desktop, if it disappears there, then i don't know what to say

Ive got vista aswell and had the same problem - and what carter said works!

Thanks chaps, will give it a go now.

Weird as I just downloaded pokerheaven, but can't get paradise poker.... will try doing a "save as".

It was a bit of a guess since ive never used vista before!

Dont get it - its shite! I litrally got to the point of wanting to throw a new pc i bough out of my window - its that stressful... i belive some others got to the same point as me! lol
