Metallica- Wherever I May Roam
I am on fire while listening to this song on repeat. Don't tell them about this though as they have a habit of suing.

Stats AFTER metallica tbc after my fryup - watch this space.
Stats AFTER metallica
game 1 - hetfield didn't stop my top pair getting crushed by a set of 3's. - battling back from a half stack - yes sad but true.
I think my graph speaks for itself. In the last 11 games I've played, mostly 10 player, I've only failed to cash twice, and won 5 times. I've also been flopping a lot of sets I've noticed.
One time I was on the bubble and flopped the 2nd nut straight only to find someone with the nut straight but I recovered and won the game, so it's not all peachy dandy. I believe there to be some kind of special wavelength in the recording which makes you concentrate more: something to do with the intensity of the piece.
Here are the lyrics. I have emboldened the lines that subliminally make you a better player, and italicised the significances of them.
...and the road becomes my bride
I have stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide
And she keeps me satisfied
Gives me all I need
...and with dust in throat I crave
Only knowledge will I save
To the game you stay a slave (the game of poker LDO)
Rover wanderer
Nomad vagabond
Call me what you will (call me with rubbish please. Thankyou.)
But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind anywhere
And I'll redefine anywhere (pre-flop re-raise with 67s FTW)
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
...and the earth becomes my throne
I adapt to the unknown (that fish who's all in every hand then limps utg)
Under wandering stars I've grown (I've been badly beat there a lot)
By myself but not alone
I ask no one
...and my ties are severed clean
The less I have the more I gain (I am king of short stack)
Off the beaten path I reign
Rover wanderer
Nomad vagabond
Call me what you will
But I'll take my time anywhere
I'm free to speak my mind anywhere
And I'll never mind anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind
And I'll take my find anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
Carved upon my stone
My body lie, but still I roam
Wherever I may roam

I don't even have a microphone at home. And I don't know any of the recording stuff. My friends did all that stuff, I just recorded it while listening to the backing track. I might get some recording equipment soon so I can record some other songs I have written (on guitar). If I find success with that then I may make another rap. I dunno if I can make another poker rap though because I already used a lot of terminology in the first one. Plus any rap I make will probably suck in comparison to Bad Beat.
This is the only other rap I have written, and never had any tune for it.
Did you really expect a reply so quick?
Cos' I got a little rhythm- meaning's cryptic!
Duck sits on pond, bread's there for the taking,
But the quack is solid whack
And there's method to his faking.
Opens beak for crumb overdose
Message has been sent
Bum stands on shore, tells duck to get bent.
Ducky 'aving none of it, s'given up tolerance for Lent.
Cos' Ducks from the ghetto
Never take such shit
He's splashing it and cashing it, and you can bet he's fashioned it
Takes to his wings, flashes bling controlled gliding
Leaves bum on shore behind,
messes with fucked up mind
Yo! Rewind!

Anyway, the Metallica track is working magic for me again. Check out this hand I played heads up against an opponent. I think he missed a bet somewhere?
