    Default The Fish Bet

Now I have justly got some money back on poker.co.uk I am playing the speed $3 5 player stts. Here I explore what I call the fish bet. The fish bet is a minimum continuation bet that basically says "That was a bad flop for me but I have to be seen to make a continuation bet." In this example I incite an opponent to give me the right odds to see the turn card and eventually bust him. I was going to be continuation betting 95% of the time, so better it be an amount that gives me odds to improve than an amount that doesn't.

Also note that this was already a fishy game. Someone had gone out on the very first hand, and I think I had lost a small pot prior to this hand so I had the image of being someone as equally tilty/fishy as all the others.
