Default Such monkey tilt...sigh

Those who played with me live will know that it takes a lot to tilt me in a physical sense e.g in a punch the wall, kick teh cat type way. Tilt in the head another matter entirely of course.

However, tonight I think i've got the most angry i've ever got in a game of online poker, before you stop reading this is NOT A BAD BEAT POST, this would've got posted if i'd won the satellite because the bad play could cost in the future.

Anyway I'm in a $11R to the Stars sunday million (not intending to play it unless i win multiple seats, instead i'll withdraw the $ and put it towards the WSOP). Anyway after all is said and done at the end of the re-buy period 23 seats are up for grabs with about 110 players remaining, a most favourable situation (how i love players who play re-buys and don't last until the end of the re-buy period).

Anyway thru some good play and some idiotic opponents I was well inside the top ten all the way from 65 or so out. Knowing the avg would be 28k when the bubble burst I was trying to hover around this mark. With 27 left I'm 10/27 with 21k, however blinds are coming round. They hit me at 6-12/600. And I can do nothing about it, but I don't need to, people are worse of than me. Twice I saw people all in for less than the 8k big blind and the 4k small blind give them a walk (both times the SB had over 30k and could've called with two napkins let alone 2-3o,

From hand for hand (27 left) i've had the other two tables up, when i'm in the bb there are 24 left so one left to be knocked out. On one table there's a player all-in from the ante for less than 400 chips, do all the big stacks limp to knock him out and end the tournament? Do they fuck, they all fold like pussys to the big blind who's forced to call (even the sb mucked ffs) and the AI holds and is up to c.3k.

But not matter i'm in the small blind next hand surely one of the two all-ins on the other tables will get knocked out. Not so, one holds and one gets a walk - at this point I actually scream out - YOU CANT GIVE HIM A WALK THERE YOU FUCKING IDIOT.
So i end up being all in for about 195 chips the next hand, but i've got one last out there's a player in for even less on another table but, yes you've guessed it he wins his hand and my 6-8 amazingly doesn't get there. Out in 24th for $25.
I think satellites are the only form of poker where the 'you want the bad players on your table' maxim doesn't hold true.

edit: I <3 stars but too much in one night, whilst i was writing this I was at thh FT of a $24 dbl shootout to the $370 150 seat gtd sat to the WSOP Main Event (which i'll play regardless but want to get in cheap). Three handed at FT with two seats up for grabs (100-200) and two of us are level with 3.5kish and there's on guy who has about 2k, I raise with A-9hh and the shorty shoves i snap call he shows 6s, I spike an ace, shout 'ship the seat, before it runner runners him a str8. Sigh.

lol yeah i'm fine mate, won a satellite to the nightly 150k so actually a small winning session but it should've bbeen a +$500 day and considering (according to OPR), that i'm up just $448 for teh month of may that puts it in perspective.

I was never in danger of tilting, but my laptop was in danger of being thrown. I have a tilt account on another site that i use if i get tilty and i just go play low stakes HU and jam most hands.

Having a dedicated 'tilt account' is a great idea. I think I should do that too!

I play small stakes HU matches, because you get to play nearly every hand, which seems to get tilt out of my system quickly.

A tilt account sounds like a legendary idea!

I imagine the variance is pretty sick when playing mainly tuourneys, After being
a solid winner over a large sample i have broken even over my last 18K cash game hands . . . Its been a frustrating two weeks.
