APAT Irish Amateur Poker Championship - London Poker Meetup (London) - Meetup.com

    anyone planning on going over?

been a fair bit of talk on a few sites about going over just for the "soft" cash games against "those crazy paddys", i'm sure theres a bundle to be made but i'm not sure the fitzwilliam is the ideal spot, i've played against some of them a cpl of times in gutshot vs fitz team games and they were decent players

i will be having a go at satelliting in, if i don't then i'll make a decision, but likely that i'll save my money for vegas.

Me too, if I don't get in thru the sats then I'll have to decide, but I'll have already spent nearly half the entry fee if I play all 3 sats and am unsuccessful....

Anyone play any of the sats?

I missed the 1st two but played tonights one, was in 6th with about 40 people left till I did a bit of a crazy move against the person in 4th, although it was possibly a crazy call by them, either way I was out!

Ah well, think I'll give this one a miss, the APAT folks never give much notice do they, I'd prefer to be able to plan in advance if I was going to be travelling.
