Pokerhand #49295
Anyone wish to comment on the way David Benyamine played his hand? Given the action, surely a player of his stature would know that he is likely drawing to 2 outs.
Durrr wasn't deep so I don't think his play was bad, nor do I think he will be that bothered, but Benyamine must be sick. Grinding for hours to lose a stack that size on one hand. As always, Rugby runs like a dream.

I've been thinking about this a bit. Maybe he thought that neither of the others had a flush draw. The way they played it makes it look like they both have sets here. This is how I think he thought about it. Surely nobody would re-pot him with a player to act with either the A or K flush draw. THis must be a set (except it isn't). And then rugby goes over the top of that trying to push Benyamine out as durrr is committed. I think rugby only does this with two kinds of hand: a set of nines or queens, or possibly the super-draw. Benyamine knows rugby hasnt got the superdraw because he has it. He figures he must be up against two sets and have the right odds to call with what is probably the best flush draw and an inside straight (flush) draw.
