    Default Cash game hand

    Ok £1/£1 PL Hold em

    Stacks and reads

MP £220 seems like a rock. Not much action from him
    C/O £89 fishy as fook!!!
Button £290 Thats me and you all know me
SB £240 Sat down at the table about a hour ago for the min of £50 and lost it pretty quickly. Then bought in for £100 and doubled up very quickly with a smelly hand A,10 vs QQ when he got trips on the river. So seems a bit of a noob.

Play is 10 handed (sorry Woody but these 6 handed tables are too much like proper poker to me at the moment)

We are dealt A 4 (ooooooo suited ladyboy! I am in love)

    MP Pots to £4
    C/O calls £4
    I call £4 (Fold preflop)??
    SB calls £4

    Pot £17

    Flop A J 5

    SB pots to £17
    MP folds
    C/O folds
I call (Bad call)??? Should i fold??

    Pot £51

    Turn

    2

    SB checks

Whats your line here then check the turn?? Lead out???

    Comments please

    This is live right?

No problem at all with calling pre-flop in position with a nut maker when people are that deep.

Fold the flop. You're not playing A4s to make one pair, there'll be way better spots to take the idiots money.

Not really sure what to do on the turn, probably check behind. Betting seems like we're not going to get better hands to fold and not many worse hands to call.

I don’t mind the call preflop considering you are fairly deep and in position but it’s pretty close IMO and probably closer to a fold than a call.

Flop easy fold. SB’s action is very strong here, leading into a multiway pot on a pretty drawless board.

Turn check behind for sure, could be going for a stack a donk (bit deep for that tho to be fair) but what hand leads that flop 4 way then decides that he should slow down based on the 2 coming out?
Walking away is easy. The hard part is standing up.

I'd stick a small raise in on the turn. £30 should do it.

I dunno what to say about the turn because im so lost after all that and ive not got a scooby doo where i am.
This guy did not seem like a rock. He pretty much was a bit of a donk from what i got in a hour.

    I call preflop.

    I call the flop.

    I check the turn.

I check/call a medium size bet on the river if it looks a fairly safe card. If he pots it then I'd really have to think long and hard.

I think he's got kings or queens. The fact that he smooths it preflop and then hammers out a big bet on the flop reeks of a trap play. It's hard to see him having aces, king or queens more likely and then there's the danger of the big ace. It's a real tough spot but its one that I'd like to see what he had and I think following through to showdown might be worth it in the long run.

That is exactly why leading out in the turn was a bad play, and its only Diceman that would do this lol.

I probably fold now. If he was playing anything you can beat then I think he would be resigned to being beat by now considering u called a pot bet and then led out on the turn. However, he must just be a clever player and is giving u the run around.
