Howdy.. finished my first poker tourney last night (which I've payed for) and came in 3rd. Was really good actually, enjoyed it a bit too much... even though i am now at work knackered after 3 hours kip.

There were 85 people at 50 euro entry and it got me 450. It was also an ftf qualifier what ever that is. Do you have to come in first for that?

Get to the final table in three consecutive FTF qualifiers and you win a place into a 15,000 euro 10 max freeroll
Every place is paid 10th gets about 250 euros and 1st gets some like 3500

FTF is a promotion thats running whereby if you make three final tables in a row on the FTF qualifier tourneys (I think these are generally €10+ fo/rebuy MTTs) then you get an invite into a game down the line where the prize pool is €10,000, there are 10 runners and everyone cashes. Or at least that's how it used to be. Maybe.

Well, thats that dream in the pan.. entered another ftf 30 euro last night and finished 11th!!!!

Me and one more were seriously under pressure of going out so with 2500 chips versus his 2450 chips, I called all in on a JK (blinds were 500 / 1000). Some one else called me for JQ and the queen popped up. Ah well.

Came 2 / 80 in deepstack for 720e and had a shot at the midnight 3k, VERY soft game.

Lost half the field in 1st hour wtf!!!!!

When playing live with my friends (we weren't playing for a lot) I had £60 at the start and my friend had £50. I had pocket 6s and he had A K, the cards were out A K 4 J 8 and we'd both already comitted £20 each, then my friend bets £10 on the river and I move all in. He folded! haha, that's my favourite hand I've played.
