Player 'A'

I watched this hand played out yesterday and wanted other opinions on how player A played the hand. No specific reads on opponents but they seem generally poor, some poor showdowns from all and random preflop raising. Each one of them seems to pay off a made hand and top pair is usually good enough.

The flop call?? More like the river bet. Wow looks like he is scared of the flush but cant see too much wrong with calling the flop.

So the pots around $150, 'A' checks and 'C' fires in $100 and is called by 'D' and you think calling for $100 is a good play?

3.5 - 1 on your money, with a maximum of 6 outs, provided at least one of them has a pocket pair or has paired the board. Not to mention the fact that the board is flush heavy possibly taking the A away as an out.

When I saw this I thought player 'A' was drawing to 3 outs, and that's one of the remaining kings. I could easily see Ax being played by one of the opponents in this spot, with x being paired on the flop considering the action.

Where's Firedonk and Donkmeister Woody on this one? I want to see what these two think of this.

But you are saying the opponents are poor. Therefore what hands do YOU consider them to have?? My personal view is that dont have too much. Maybe player A was setting up a bit a bluff on the turn.

Also the post makes no sense how can player B fold preflop and then check on the turn!

Maybe you should try and edit the post and people can make better decisions as it makes no sense

It's clearly a bad call on the flop, drawing to one pair against two opponents is usually going to be a pretty stupid thing to do. Especially when your 'outs' couldn't be much less clean, there really isn't any good cards you can hit (Ah is probably the least bad).

i played on 5/10 for 6 hrs.. (fat rake too woo) the guys were fishy f*ckers calling with anything.

I stand by the call, I was stacked, and If I hit i was getting PAID baby.

search and destroy those fishes... I was gutted I had to go to bed (had work @9am).. they were GIVING the cash away. (eg they were calling to river with nowt, and giving away $250 pots to me who is holding a pair of 3's... )

I will be back on 5/10 in a few days when i slog my stack up (made a fat withdrawal and left 500$ to slog up before I return.. yes bankroll management is getting addressed by me in 2007)

Apart from when you hit and improve to the 2nd best hand, then stack off with one pair and look like an idiot.

Fishy alex has a point here. Some HH i do not like as it just does not give you enough info to go by.

Anyway your bet on the river smelt of weakness therefore i would have been re raising you to kingdom come.

jajaja I was on a break yesterday- instead i was the fisherman.. and the real fish got gutted like fish.

course we all know you never call a raise with overcards, and always have the nuts. christ on a bike gimme a break! ffs.
