I would have raised the turn, sometimes raising with two pair here will have the other player fold, thats the chance you have to take, this time they have two pair, raising the turn give you a chance to take their stack here. Betting when you hit a good hand will make you more cash in the longrun.

I promise i'm not trying to be arkward or agrumentative here but...I play it a bit different

Preflop - Raise! Yes I know our hand isn't very good but if figures to be better than the SB's and we don't really mind taking the pot with it now. If we don't win it now we have postion on him and we build some FE for the flop which is also good. I raise a lot of hands in these spots and find it works very well...plus your hand is soooooted! If you'd prefer to keep the pot small with these sorts of hands then checking is also fine.

Flop - Fold. meh, you don't have a hand and he could be holding anything. You haven't invested anything in the pot just let it go.

Turn - I don't mind calling here at all actually and I also don't mind a raise. I think raising is thinner than it looks but certainly not bad. Calling also has merits as when we raise he will often fold but when we call he might bet the river with a hand he otherwise folds on the turn.

River - raising the the river seems pretty thin considering how much he likes his hand. Call is good i'd say.

ok well i'm with the other trust and matty and would raise this turn, his limp preflop gives a range wider than the andes but if we just take into consideration playable hands then the flop had probably given him some kind of straight draw in most cases and the king on the turn could make it oe or double gutshot, far too many outs to give someone odds to call with or a cheap card, in this situation the guy has tried to slow roll a pretty weak 2 pair and should of got you off the pot with a big flop bet

a raise on the river is only gonna get called by a stronger hand, although you might of got away with it this time, in the long run that play in this situation will probably lose you money

i do agree with woody though too as i would of probably folded the flop, i find chasing hands with bottom pair in these situations usually fruitless, theres far to many better possible hands out there with better draws on such a straight orientated board

    woody i pm'ed ya

ok cheers guys - thanks for the advise, i refused the raise at the river just cuz he did have such a selection of hands - i mean it is .25/.50 he could have limped with a small pair (even 6's) u never quite know with those
