Basically in an unraised pot and if its folded to me i am raising with these hands.
However there are a few i am not calling with in raised pots preflop

sensible enough.. i might add AJ to the early hands, altho am folding to massive raises postflop with an ace.. (esp on cash table) fishing for a jack with ace kicker is worth adding the hand i think.
You're playing limit poker?
Not sure if it's ever sensible to have a hands matrix for tournaments and sit and gos. Cash is another matter.
There are times in sng's/mtt's where i will raise with ATC, in fact my cards could be blank (as in i can't win a showdown).

Sorry my pm was crap. Basically i do use the matrix at the start of maybe a sit n go but things change once players get knocked out.Originally Posted by DonkBox

if that one was aimed at me, nope.Originally Posted by PokerWoody
I think raising with ace-rag in late position especially early on in a tournament or sit and go is a recipie for disaster. If you get called it's very hard to know where you are at, in fact if i ever play ace rag i'm actually hoping to miss the flop (unless it's a suited ace rag and i flop a flush or a big draw) and hope it's texture is good enough to bluff/continuation bet at.

That's true if you happen to be on the edge of some kind of cliff.Originally Posted by waltypies
I'm assuming you mean a 10 person cash game?
Your matrix is good for limit poker, although a bit on the tight side. Really don't like it if you intend to use it for NL poker though.
I actually played some limit the other day, it was pretty fun in a "whoo I never have to fold" kinda way...Originally Posted by FirePhil
