OMG a lurker! someone is actually listening to the shit and insults we bang down on here.
Anyway, welcome to the boards. As for the hand the only play is all in.
Hey guys, I religiously check this site daily as i really enjoy poker and your discussions are both regularly funny and education. following much of the advice posted here i have finally recorded 2 mtt top 3 finishes on my site of choice, Betfred. don't know if any of u are on there but i tried many others without any success and just seemed to do better here. ( Im motorhead84 if any of u do ) don't have a bank roll to speak of as i plan to go to vegas next april after the awesome time i had there in november last year but regularly play mtt stt up to 20+2 dollars and the occasional small cash game.
Anyway rather than just talk crap through my 1st post, (hopefully not last though im not sure how much i can contribute as i am not exactly a stato but ill give an opinion!) i thought id question a move in a tourney recently. it was early in a 20+2 mtt 10 seats, 3rd hand i think, UTG im dealt QQ, the suits i can't remember but i don't i feel they play much part in the story. the stacks are 1500 blinds are 10+20. i call the big blind and the next player raises to 140. 3 callers, a lot i feel at this stage, both blinds fold. i reraise to 420 and get 2 callers and 1 fold. Flop comes KQ7 rainbow. i check my trips, next player goes all-in and gets called. what do we do here with 420 of our stack in the pot and over 3000 in there? its early in the tourney so plenty of time to catch up if we fold. ill let you know what i did and what happened after 11 tonight, if i have any responses lol!
Anyway nice to meet you all, im also, as of yet, a non player on meetup.co.uk which i believe some of you are members of so maybe some day i will get a game with you.

Easy call surely? I'd expect them to have fuck all basically. The first guy to go all in could have just a pair of queens or an underpair even, JJ-88. The second guy will call him with any king since you already checked and he expects you'll fold. The first guy can go all in with JT here as a semi-bluff. I'd be more scared of JT than KK actually, in terms of probability of someone holding it and your EV as a result.

yeah unfortunately i agreed that the only move is all-in, i call and both players show AK which puts me in an awesome position of somethin like a 95% favorite for the pot, trip Q's against top pair top kicker. anyway turn is 10 and river is J for goodnight Irene losing to a split pot of a str8 to the Ace. glad that you agreed that the choice i made based on the information i was given was correct anyway, makes me feel slightly better.
