    Default Music while playing poker?

So what do you listen to if you do listen to music at all while playing?

Changed to soulful music at present and its working a treat!!

It calms me down and avoids tilt

    Avoiding tilt is fun

music is a must - i have same playlist for online and live games.... i like listening to entire live concert recordings.... like green day at the bowl, david grey live, coldplay & the verve etc....nice chilled out music to keep me calm....

but sometimes i never even have my music on in a live game just have my earphones in my ears - people think you are not paying attention!

I find Radiohead ok computer has the same effect, pretty chilled out and you fold a lot of draws because of the extra pessimism that it brings.

Generally I have a couple of playlists set up for poker, ones a bit more up heavy the other a little chilled out.

In the past I have simply relied on my random playlist. I have noticed however that playing just My Vitriol makes me concentrate about 5x more, I even start noticing how diffeent players play different hands when ususally I don't bother. It's because their music is so intense it puts you on a higher plane of reality.
I have Bullet in a Bible on my playlist but I often just go to the next song whenever they come on because all that screaming is so fucking annoying. Shows you how far they came on that album as about 80% of the crowd thought they were a boyband.

I was there too and it wasn't as good as when they played Leeds festival the year before. I agree it was a great gig. I can't believe he played Good Riddance on an electric guitar at the end. It's a bit too far to say that ruined the song but playing acoustic would've been 10x better.

Yeah Id forgotten about that but noticed it at the time of the CD. It was predictable theyd play it as theyd played it on the whole tour. Shout was a surprise though.

Go to www.di.fm and listen to hard trance, see how much u can concentrate then

Been listening to the oasis greatest hits recently and tend to have to turn it down when I am involved in a big pot, guess that tells u that it aint doing much for the concentration levels!
