How do we progress in this one? I'm either way ahead or way in front. My personal read on the guy is that he's very loose and very aggressive.

He reraised a 5xBB raise to $31 preflop and come showdown he had 6 high. Is he building an image like that for a situation like this so he gets paid off big?

With the clock on, this was a very tight decision...

Yes there are fishy players at 5/10, you being a prime example.

Personally I reraise this prelfop all day long. As played I fold the flop.

6xBB from a guy signals strength, reraising here could have me in a tough spot if he flat calls me.

I was wanting to see a flop with no overcards and then see how the opponent was gonna play his hand, then take it from there.

Anyway, I called the re-raise and the turn was a small blank, he checked and I checked.

River brought a ten and he moved all in. I called and he showed KT and I won a $130 pot.

So what kind of flop action are you folding to? If you had position this would make a bit more sense, but as it is I just don't understand your reasoning. And your description of the turn and river action has him acting first, or did you check it to him both times?

I dont' get your reads, but the second statement is based on fact, the first statement is based on an guess...and i'm not sure it's a good guess. It might be strength but I still reraise my JJ everytime...also we have to consider the caller between us and the raiser. From the sound of this guy I'm get it in on most flops too. I don't mind paying people like this off when they have overcards on me.

my recollection of the hand was slightly out. Here's the rest of it.

    Thor2006 Call 25.00
    *** Turn(Board): *** : [7h, 9s, 5d, 7s]
    *** Bet Round 3 ***
    Thor2006 Check
    desend Check
    *** River(Board): *** : [7h, 9s, 5d, 7s, 10c]
    *** Bet Round 4 ***
    Thor2006 Check
    desend All-in 37.70
    Thor2006 All-in 35.80
    *** Showdown *** : Rake: 3.00 Total Pot: 130.85
desend [10h, Kc] Two pair tens and sevens Win :0.00
Thor2006 [Jd, Jh] Two pair jacks and sevens Win :130.85

I'd probably have folded to the flop push if I hadn't seen him blow off with 6 high earlier.

Why not just jam the flop?

looking back at it I should of just moved in on the flop after the reraise. Easy saying that now that I've seen that he had nowt though.

    Thanks for the opinions.
