First Top10 Finish! How Often Can You Do It?

I finished a $6 NL tourney on PP earlier and came 7th out of 460. This is my first top 10 finish!

I was just wondering how often do other people manage to finish in places like this? Apart from one big hand were I got lucky I played my way through the whole tourney (which makes it even more satisfying!).

Im just thinking of percentages. I.E I finish in the top 10% 1 in 3 games etc etc.

I have no idea personally. I've fluked my way to lots of final tables but have busted out of far more I'm sure

I'll share, don't know about percentages but i've reached 3 final tables over the past 2 weeks in fields of over 300.
Also 2 final tables in fields of 90.
Had my best ever result (1st out of 387) in a $10 mtt on full tilt and won almost $1k last weekend.
If I had to guess, I think i cash about 10% of the time i play an mtt, but that's just recently and not accurate.

Dunno percentages. Ive never come first

Had a fair few final tables, 2nd being my best with a few 4ths and 5th. All cheap buyins or freerolls though.

My trouble is I tend to get there short stacked and try to hold on as long as possible. The few times Ive arrived there mid stacked I have been hideously bad beaten.

Its shocking to see people getting mid/high quality cards conflicting and I'm there getting 42/63 hand after hand at the final table.

A guesstimate would be 5% final table and 33%+ at least cash it.
