Default I played this hand so wrong!!

Ok so we have been playing solidly on a table now in a MTT for a while now.

Still early on with blinds 50/100.

Average stack is 5200 and we have 6000 in chips.

I was dealt 9s in MP.

I raise to 300 folds to BB who flat calls another 200

    Flop K.7,K

Both check. (Think i should have bet here)

    Turn 4

BB Bets 400 and i call

    River 4

BB Bets 800. I think for a bit and i am pretty certain he did not have the K so i call.

Before i say what he had would any of you done anything different? I was leaning towards betting the flop but anything else?? Maybe re raising the turn as i was slow playing trip K's??
    I breasts and muffs

You have pos on him and he checked to the preflop agressor... you HAVE to put a bet in here. Its not that bad of a flop for you tbh... if he has the king then fair play - but you have to assume you are ahead....especially on the flop. So bet the flop... and see what happens.... i cant really comment on the hand past the flop because what i have suggested would have changed the hand completly.

He obviously had at least a 4. Probably pocket 4's for quads ?
