Are you sure you have being playing TAG? and not Tight passive?

Maybe i was playing TAP. I think on a couple of hands i did. But normally if i had a strong holding i would raise preflop or re raise an original raiser. For some reason the flop in question scared the shit out of me hence the check.

Ok time to talk crap again.... I actually like seeing these types of flops when i have a pocket pair for a few reasons... 1) less likey that the guy has trips and if he does its easier to spot than a set. 2) people have the same feeling as yourself and get scared by these flops so take advantage 3) most of the time you have the best hand if you have a pocket pair. IMO (thought i would get that bit in before i get crusified!)

No i agree with you totally. Needed to play more games before this i reckon. To be honest i really need to play far more hands IMO

take heart in the fact that I just lost 300$ on 1/2 pocket queens all in after the flop (10 high rainbow)

only all in of the whole disciplined day
c*nt flips over kings.

This flop is also
1) a scary flop for your opponent, so they are not going to be very willing to put too much more money in the pot.
2) a great flop for you oppoent to bluff at.
