This is about risk vs reward.... the betting patterns are pointing towards the 7k being a flush bluff!!
Why would someone check the flush draw on the flop? weak spade?
Then why would they then check the turn if they hit?
It doesnt make sense...
He thinks he is ahead with two pair imo... and wants SB to make the decision for his tournie life... Good bet.
Tough decision to make... depends on reads and other info...has SB made this sort of play before? is he known to you? etc etc....
Fold..... no call.... no fold.... no call!!! LOL
No the problem was i was fairly new to the table and he had been playing a few pots.
I know that if i had more chips i would have called this just to see what he was playing around with. However the large but could have been a bluff or a bet to look like a bluff.
I am starting to think it was a bluff now as why would he bet so much with a spade?? Surly if it was a weak spade he would have bet a small amount in the pot or even checked it.
I really do think i folded the best hand!! pah

Uck, nasty spot with so little chips and so much money in the middle.
Push preflop, probably fold river unless I was getting bored in which case i'd call.
I fold. I wouldn't have checked the flop to begin with though.
