That totally depends on the player in question.

Some people will be just holding the straight and praying you haven't hit the flush, whilst others will have fished the flush and calling would be a bad idea.

His raise on the turn would indicate his hand was made there and then, so probably trips, two pair or maybe same straight as you. If you're unlucky then he holds 89 (that is before the river card.)

I would have moved all in on the turn and just hoped he never held 89.

I think trying to take the pot on the turn would be best then, getting the money in before seeing the river which only creates doubt.

    Woody, I'm confused

Usually you say get as much money into the pot as possible, so surely the turn is a great time to make a big bet, having landed a decent straight. Calling the turn is giving away a free card and river!

Could be dead to a fullhouse, and by the looks of the river bet, he was indeed dead.

Yes there are fishy players at 5/10, you being a prime example.

I dont think I would call here. In saying that, Milo was a bit loose and was donking a bit, so it's a close call

I really misread this hand last night, but like always, I was a little drunk.

I actually like the raise on the turn and too call his reraise. I think the river is just too much to call but with I read I might well make this call, default line would be fold river though. River is a horrible card.
