Villian in this hand is TAGish and probably a winning player. Not as good as me though.

I have posted a number of threads recently where people have told me i've been making a mistake by checking the turn as I should be value betting. The fact is I like to be the turn with strong hands or piss hands and only medium hands against weak opponents. Is this wrong? Do we think I'm a tight passive monkey not swinging from the value tree?
Who bets the turn here and how much? Whats our plan if he raises?
Bet for sure, $15-$20. Villain probably has an overpair too, 88-TT or maybe 66 (JJ+ probably would've gotten busy pf if he's aggressive). If he raises then it's tricky; a straight/2 pair is unlikely but a set is very possible. If he does raise it'll probably be a push, giving you just over 2-1, and I'd probably call (if he minraised I'd push). I think you'll see 88-TT here a lot.
