Exciting updates to Poker.co.uk

Hi all

The latest upgrade to poker.co.uk is scheduled to take place on November 15th 2006. Here's a breif overview of improvements/additions. As you will see a lot of suggestions made by members of this forum have been included in the next update []

The main parts of the upgrade are as follows:

1. Player Hand History
The player hand history has been improved in many aspects. The information is now stored locally on the player’s computer in an export friendly format and is presented in a built-in web browser (the same browser is used for showing bonus information). There are no limitations on the number of hands stored and all hands are complete for all competing players. It includes other player actions even after the player has folded.

The information is available both from the tables and the support tab in the main lobby. Played hands are presented in a list when the function is activated, and filters and a search function help the player find the correct information.

2. Information about Raked Hands and Bonuses
Players can now see detailed information about the status of their bonuses and the criteria for receiving the different bonuses, i.e. the number of raked hands and deposit amount. The information is available from the support tab in the main lobby and is presented in a built-in web browser.

3. Private Tournaments and Tables
Cash tables and tournaments (both single and multi-table) can now be set up with either password or PIN check protection (or a combination of these two), allowing for only specific players to participate. For this purpose, there is an additional filter button in the main lobby.

4. System Performance and Client Robustness
This release will address performance issues, resulting in much shorter response times and speeding up the entire poker system.

Improvements have alos been made in the reconnect functionality.

Other sites have them ranging from $5 and upwards.

Would like these too and some pot limit 7 card stud games.

Updates are good, like the idea of private cash tables.

Well the hand histories are nice, but logging in seems to be fucked. Queue of 950 people, estimated 7 minute wait.

And incase you dont read shaggy's thread, you can't search your own name anymore. This is a ball ache if it doesn't load or you get booted or it lags. Or is this just me!?!

Why would you want to search your own name anyway? Do you get disconnected so much that that's the only way to find your way back to your table?
