    Default Tonights cash table exploits

long session, probably of around 6 hours from midnight to 6 this morn. Total damage is about $400 down. There was a lot of fish on multiple tables, trustme on the same table for a long time and Prowler having a brief visit.

Quick run down of what went wrong...

Flopped set of 7's, lost to an idiot who followed me to the turn, and when I moved all in he called and hit an OESD. Total damage $110

K8 in the hole, flop of K 3 4, I bet and get called, Turn 8. I move all in and get called. He shows AA (no diamonds) and the river is a 4 giving him a higher two pair. Damage $160, Total = $270.

For the life of me I can't remember the rest, but there were 6 really bad beats in total, not including hands such as AK v 26 etc but ones with made hands getting outdrawn by inside straight draws etc.

Played a pretty good session, won 2 out of 3 STTs. Never done anything dramatically wrong but still lost a lot of cash. One of those things really, been on a slump now for about 2-3 months after a successful honeymoon period when I first started on the cash tables.

I know I could make a tidy sum just playing heads up and STTs but I find them extremely boring and tedious with very little room for manouver. Mtts are something that I need to work on as my success rate in them are particularly poor but I think the cash tables are taking a back seat until I get a sizeable roll together.

oh, forgot to mention that I have a one week chat ban for abusive language! So not only are the fish outdrawing me, I can't even give them abuse for doing so! So fkn annoying. Nothing worse than when an Italian reports you for calling him a cock sucka

Fish, like German tourists, are everwhere!!

I made a series of comebacks lately, started off poorly, uninstalled the software, put it back on for one more go again - actually won $240 from $0.25 NL blinds over the course of a week- lost two buys ins in to devastating bad beats (One of which was I flopped a straight and got into an all in situation, only to find the player refused fold his AA, one of which was a spades and he hit spades on turn and river ) so instead of losing it all I cashed out for a change!

Haven't played for nearly a week and feel better for it. I just get too addicted when I'm playing- if I win a bit I'll tend to be on all day, getting a stiff neck and saw eyes looking at the computer when there's so much more to life than sitting at a computer playing poker against a load of twats!

Standard. $400 downswing is just variance, don't worry about it too much. After all it's only 2 buy ins at NL200 and 4 at NL100 which is really very little.

Review all your big hands and make you aren't doing anything to silly, take a break if you need to, then go at it again.

    How big is your bankroll?

not too large, I had about $1k on last night, but I do have the funds in the bank should I need to deposit, so I could probably push to a total roll of about $5k but that would only be in emergency situations.

Last night was about making profit at .5/1 NL, but the tables were fairly dead and hardly any action so decided to move up and try and hit some big hands, which I did... only to lose.

Depositing sucks! With only 1k you should really be playing a mix of 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00, any higher and some bad luck and you are wiped out. Just depends how much you mind redepositing I guess.
