APC Poker Final
Suppose I should be happy with the payout but I was gutted to get so close to a $7,500 package in Goa.

how were u stacked when u got into the money? Did u play badly from then on or where u so low that it was almost impossible to challenge the leaders?

The top 3 got an all expenses paid trip to the Asian Poker Classics in Goa !! Yes that was me in 6th Neil.
When there were 9 left I was in 3rd, but blinds were so high it was all change very quickly. I hardly had any premium hands all night either. When it came to it and I got my money in I seemed to hit my cards though. Just seemed to sit there for ages getting nothing and then shove it all in with any half decent cards.
By the time there were 6 left 3 people had massive stacks and the other 3 of us were struggling !!

Well done, shame you didnt get the trip to Goa but at least you didnt finish 7th - that would be the worst!
Did you buy straight into that final or qualify through satellites?
No I qualified through a sub-satellite that cost me about $3 !!

Maybe you can invest it in a buy in to the final next time
