Was a bit bored this evening because the missus is away so decided to play the APC Daily - Not entirely what the price structure consisted of, 6 seats and 1 payout for 7th. To be honest im glad I got 7th because I wouldve probably forgotten about it anyway!!!

But anyway, wouldve liked to get quite far - in fact this is my best result ever - 7th out of 68, and as you can see Barca and Supermoy were out with thier blinds (hopefully), so when my hand came up I thought I was sorted to match Kowi65.

No doubt i would have called with any 2 cards considering your chip stack!!

Just unlucky you ran into a better hand.

With your position I might have been tempted to lay it down and see a few more hands, especially given the raise to you. As Walty says though, given your stack you were going to get players come with you when you finally made your move anyway and AJ is about as good as you might hope to get, you just got unlucky

well i was tempted to hold on but but the blinds were coming, and it only needed them to have a good hand and they had a chance too...

oh well...

life goes on, and more importantly, $10 in my pocket - wahey!

and yes i actually do really need it!

Depends somewhat on what mr. AQ has been doing for the last 20 mins, but basically you're gonna struggle to lay a hand like this down, and if you do and a shortstack doubles up, you could go out 7th anyway and be kicking yourself. You should've been more aggressive 10 mins earlier
