With all these people with no posts starting new threads with just links to other sites or posting some stupid joke? Are they getting paid for it or something?

many are trying to get 20 posts to play the poker freerolls, others have been trying to lure punters to their crappy web-sites to sell devices which they claim empty fruit-machines (however they don't).

While the admins here are good, and the mods are good when they are awake - people are usually given a second chance. Recently some rogue users have been banned - (yayyy) let this be a lesson to you spammers.

It is okay to link to your site in your sig if you meet certain criteria (for example I link back to this great forum from all of the sites I have in my .sig, as well as participating and contributing to the forum) - If in doubt regarding posting a link, it might be worth pm'ing the admins or mods, rather than getting tarred and feathered..

Most of them are probably spam bots and you get at least 2 or 3 a day here with a bad joke and links to load of drugs, we try and get rid of them as soon as they appear.
