All in preflop...
This sorta thing has been happening too often to me recently, the only consolation is that I am always getting the chips in when big favourite.
Yesterday on a cash table I lost $300 on two hands.
1) flop 10 high, I had JJ, guy moves all in with A10, I call and he makes trips on the river.
2)preflop: raise, I reraise, get reraised, I'm all in. I have kings, other guy has A 10, hits the ace of course. Grrrr

Unlucky, but can you blame him for calling an all in with A3 suited when he had you well covered in chips.
58k to win 140k is giving him 2.4 - 1 odds for this call which is about right but it doesn't mean it dont hurt when it goes against you.
I most certainly would have laid his hand down if I was in his position, as if my opponents hand holds up then he holds a big advantage in the HU battle. Especially if I had only raise 4xBB preflop, not as if I would be committed to pushing in.
Another factor in his decision which baffled me was the fact that everytime I went to showdown, which was a few times on the final table, I had the goods. I showed a lot of big hands and he obviously wasn't a good enough player to register this. I was all in a few times against other players (I probably knocked 4 out of the last 10 out) and always had at least AK.
Anyway, enough whining.
