My virus scanner found a trojan that had embedded itself in the poker log files of Littlewoods poker today. I haven't played that site for ages so guess it might be a general cryptologic virus, so have a check if you've played any crypto recently.
I've got the virus scanner running during every screensaver mode so it's pretty fresh.
Course, it could be local to my machine due to all that p0rn I download.![]()

Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
thanks for that! it does teach you though for playing littlewoods.
that was my first ever poker experience...i used to use the casio quite a bit, but it was so tempremental! i remember coming back to england then from working and living in norway around christmas 2 years ago, not wanting to get a job so i became a professional gambler!!! well i thought i was anyway. so i used littlewoods and it was crap...
at this point i had no idea how to play poker so i was bored and chucked in 25 bucks then lost it within an hour. oops.
lessson learnt. do not use littlewoods poker!!!
I could safely say its impossible for a virus to impliment itself into a log file. Well maybe not impossible, but would be no use, a log file cant be 'executed' it only contains data which can only be read, and not executed, so i can safely say its not a virus caused by littlewoods poker.

These could be the locations where its copying an executable file to, the folder you was referring to before could've been the "log" folder inside "littlewoods poker" or whatever it is, and you thought it was the files, when in turn its actually the folder, most viruses will copy and overwrite as many exectuable files as possible to keep itself on your machine.
What software are you using for your scanning too? Some of todays virus scanning software are a bit TOO vigorous, ie: ewido security suite is probably one of the best protectors for your machine, yet it can be too vigorous and pick up viruses that dont actually exist, so you end up deleting the files by mistake thinking it contained a virus.
