Every now and then I'll play in the daily freerolls on Bet365, where you start with 1000 chips. Often you get 3 or 4 people all in on the first hand with any old rubbish (including me it has to be said), I think due to the fact that theres often 10,000+ people playing. And I rarely have the patience to play for that amount of time when you can't win very much!
Anyway I was wondering, would it be classed as cheating if you were to type in the chat something like "If we all go all in on the first hand, we've all got a 1 in 10 chance of starting as chip leader on 10,000 chips"......?!
Does anyone play these sort of freerolls? I sometimes play them alongside a real money game so I've got something to do in between hands
Personally I don't like freerolls (There just like friendly £5 games with mates). But no, I don't think that's cheating...
10,000 people plus???
You are having a laugh, even if it was there $5k freeroll on weekends that would make 5oc buy in?
Would you actually buy in a tournament with over 10,000 plus runners for 5oc?????
Best way to look at freerolls imo, is look at how many runners and divide the prizepool to the runners to get the buy in to see if its worth joining. If you shop around there are great freeroll in the right places that are great value.
Another way to look at it and i would not myself is there has to be a winner.
Yes 10,000+ at times!! These days like I said I mostly only sign on to them if I'm playing another "pay money" tournament as sometimes it helps to play loose on the freeroll to keep me occupied so i don't get involved with hands I shouldn't in the other game.
I have never had the patience to play one of these freerolls properly really but thought if I could start with 10,000 chips then I might be more interested!![]()
As for buying in to a tournament with 10,000+ runners - no way lol
Normally a few hundred is the max for me, unless I've got a lot of time to spare
