It makes me wonder if a lot of chip dumping goes on in these big events!
you'd need a massive team and a lot of luck to attempt a chip dump scam in this event, with 880 tables spread over 4 days just for the 1st days play, a team of 100 might never have 2 players on the same table
maybe when its down to 1000 runners a 100 players could all get together and try something but by that stage personally i'd be thinking about a bit of personal glory!!

Jack Mahalingam is all-in for $5,000 and is called an opponent in late position. Mahalingam shows 88 and his opponent has 55. The flop is 655 and his opponent flops quads. The turn is a 9 giving Mahalingam a gut-shot straight flush draw (his only way to win). The river is the 7 giving Mahalingam the straight flush and the hand.

Shannon Elizabeth Eliminated - Jul 29, 2006 19:56:27
lasted 2 minutes longer than phil lol
phil ivey is building a stack, i was saying to a friend i had a feeling he's gonna storm into this tourney and be chip leader after a cpl of days, whether he wins it or not is another thing, my friend said as long as he dont bump into lederer he's got a chance, not cos he thinks lederer will win it but because he cant play against him, apparently lederer wipes the floor with him every time, which made me think, once ya reach that level of poker and consistently playing the same people over n over, how often are they playing the cards and how often they playing the player?
