Yeah i quite like it - however it is quite disappointing to see CO not make a continuation bet on the flop, if i was in UTG seat i would expect that seeing as he was the preflop reraiser and i supposse the check was justified!?
However seeing as UTG made the intial raise personally i would have liked to have seen a bet on the flop.
The UTG reraise on the river i think is justified as it looks like SB may have been drawing and missed and made a bet anyway.
I dont see anything wrong with the hand - like has been said before - its hard to give solid opinions as it depends on how the table is precieved!
Yeah, good point.
CO had been playing very straight forward poker. Betting with hands, folding without, calling with draws type stuff
SB wasn't very good. Was stuck about 3 buyins at this point. Like the CO, wasn't very tricky.
UTG is the best poker player in the world![]()
I'm not sure if I do like it. I reckoned CO had AK and SB a PP, although I think he would also cold call here with something like AQs. Either way, my impression was that he had me beat but also that his hand couldn't take a lot of heat, hence the raise. I also think he'll have a set here sometimes too.
The pot is $50 and he bets $15 leaving about $50 behind. So i'm risking $65 to win $65 and giving him just over 2-1 on his call. He needs to fold at least 50% of the time for this bluff to show a profit.
Also, I think his current mental state is quite volitle. He could either take the attitude that he has lost a lot already and doesn't want to take any chances here, or just call with nearly anything if he is tilting, which is possible. I think we get more FE by putting him all in rather than the bluff costing him x% of his stack.
Hmm...
