i actually would of preferred an english manager but the fact they are all shit made big phil a reasonable choice until stuart pearce has a lot more experience!!

Is this really poker-related? Personally I think Scolari's the kind of manager who might ruin the England team. We're not Brazil! And look what he's done to Portugal, they're shit now! If it weren't for Ronaldo (Ferguson deserves credit there) they wouldn't have any decent players. (Deco's a bit crap in my opinion)

oh come on! Deco is a genius. Scoalri is clearly the best manager of the ones interviewed. Also he's managed teams AGAINST england several times. That's got to give an insight into the way people will play against us. this post may not be poker related, but you can relate poker to it. think of the difference between watching someone play and actually playing against them. anyway, i don't care if he's not english, he's the best on offer IMO.

I don't know if he's the best manager out of those interviewed though I think the English contingent is a bit weak and inexperienced. Lots of people might disagree with me but if I had the choice I'd definitely go with Sven for another 4 years (unless we did really bad at the WC)
