    Default Poker Table

    Hey guys,

Finally have enough cash to splash out on a poker table. Have found one on ebay for £70 (see link below) it's £70 with £34.99 del cost, but for a 10 seater i think that's quite reasonbale. However before i splash out anyone know of anywhere else i can get one that's as good or better for a similar price (i don't want to spend more than c£100) i also don't drive so can't go to the store where sloggs got his fine table.

    Any ideas much appreciated.

Sloggs got a nice one recently for about £70ish. I've actually played on it and was impressed by the quality and stablity of it.

He'll probably see this thread but might be worth sending him a PM just in case if you want any details.

Have had the pleasure of playing on sloggs' table although whether that was the table or the elevator music...

i know he got it from one of those cash n carry type places where you have got have a business card to buy, i sadly don't nor a van to transport a table in.

But yeah it's a lovely table mr sloggs has got there.

    Nice Table
A bit more expensive but looks very nice. They've got a couple of cheaper ones that look OK too.

Alternatively ask Sloggs very nicely and/or bribe him to pick one up for you

ah thought i recognised it, the royal flush table on drink stuff is quite nice, but the chip tray and dealer seat is a minus point as this is not needed for a home game. After having a good look around have decided to go for the one off ebay as it is one of the only 10 seaters i can find. Also it's not too pricey and the cloth is wipeable for the inevitable beer spilleges!

Sloggs posted recently saying he'd been back to the store and they told him they would be getting some more in, or something like that.

His table is fantastic IMO. Good size, very stable and good cloth

I'm more than happy to pick some up from Costco and even deliver them in my van (for a small fee! ). I did ask them just last week, as quite a few people liked it when they saw mine (ooer), but alas they are seasonal, and have none in the UK currently. The guy I spoke reckoned about August/September to get them back in...

I'll check closer to then and post up when they are in, if anyone wants one at that time, I'll sort it...

That one on eBay looks ok Nick, similar to mine but a bit bigger. Just watch out for the table sagging in the middle. Mine looks like it is starting a bit, but it is very well bolstered underneath (hence being so chuffing heavy!). I'd look back through their feedback if they've sold more of them and see how they are standing up (maybe even email a buyer and ask them specifically about whether it sags in the middle).

Good luck! Look forward to playing on it...
