Default Do you fold this, if so at what point?

$2/$4 NL cash game, 9 handed. Player A started the hand with ~$230 and Player B with ~$160

Player A holding KJ min-raises to $8 in MP, Player B in LP re-raises to $20. Folded back to player A, call or fold here? (Or anyone re-raising?)

Player A called, pot is $46. Flop comes 7 J 9 with 2 hearts, player A bets out for $16, player B raises to $44. Pot is $106, $28 to call. Call, fold or re-raise here?

Player A called, turn is an offsuit ten. Player A bets $40, player B raises all-in for $96. Pot is $270, $56 to call. Call or fold here?

What do you put Player B on?

I have very little experience playing cash games and especially $2/$4 ones!! but here goes my opinion which is programmed for tournment play! LOL

.....personally i would have folded once i got reraised, i dont consider KJ a strong hand and the fact he has position would scare me off. However, if i was in position i would have reraised this.

Unless the money didnt matter at all, or if you know the opponent is a 'good' player I would definitely have folded pre-flop after he raised that big over the top, K J is not that good a starting hand. Player A is looking good after the flop and makes the right bet but i would seriously be thinking AA, KK ,QQ after player Bs reraise. Would definitely walk away now. After players A's turn bet hes committed to calling the reraise, hes praying for another Jack really. So i put player B on higher pair or hes a ballsey bastard and has been bluffing with nothing all along. What was the River?

Player A calls. The river is a Queen. Player B is holding Pocket Jacks and promptly throws his PC out of the window. (I bet Phil is Player B)

Sorry. To answer the original question. Yes I am folding, and it is pre-flop.

If i decided to play the hand at all (K-J suited is worth a shot if i'm in the mood) i would have folded to the pre-flop re-raise. K-J is a horrible hand as far as i'm concerned, i never know what to do with it. It's third on my list of hands i hate after A-J and J-J. I'm inclined to think TPAK's prediction is right though.

My guess is you are neither player as those raises seem a little small for you.

The problem with this hand is that A has made it harder for himself by playing like a total galah.

    Pre flop - Fold
Flop - Bet more, fold to raise / fold to raise.
Turn - I've no idea what he's doing with the lead but still fold. This is much closer because he now has a few outs but it's hard to know how clean these out's are. For example a Queen will probably be good, a king not so good and maybe a jack will be okay. My feeling is that he is still probably behind B's range even with those pot odds.

I don't see B with anyting that A can beat.

The river was a blank and Player B won the pot with KK, so no computers would have been thrown out of windows (unless Player A was really pissed off at how badly he played it).

The way Player A played it I think folding either pre-flop or to the flop raise is the best play, everyone seemed to agree with that.

Any comments on how Player B played it?
