Default server standards and compliance - card dealing...

I have heard much speculation about the online poker card dealing mechanism, -with regard to whether some servers might throw in certain cards (after analysing everyone's hands) to - perhaps give the underdog a better chance on the river for example; (to get more rake money in), and so on.. (maybe a conspiracy theory - but there are unscrupulous people in this world)

    my thoughts:
I think players should maybe doubt these systems somewhat, (or at least a bit more.)... and demand a common set of algorithms etc that all online-casinos (perhaps only the ones in uk for example..) must use to generate cards

    - further such a system should be available to drop in inspection from some governing body at any time to scrutinise that they aren't scamming it etc.

the problem I guess is that u can play in a foreign country etc, servers offshore etc...

since we aren't in China where they try to block anything even "racy"
this will probably not happen.. but am sure it will happen soon given the gambling explosion at the moment.

what do y'all think? conspiracy theories or "random luck"?
do dodgy casinos exist? I would have imagined myself putting a few know-all bots in my own e-casino etc

would *you* feel more comfortable if even the uk online-casinos complied with this ? (least u would have more confidence in not getting F'd in the A..)

the casinos won't like it anyway.. more expense for them etc (am sure even though i now play poker on the oh so wonderful
poker.co.uk, the applet connects to some server abroad for example..)

    thoughts ?
    /rant.

There are always numerous rumours about numerous sites going around all the time.

And its usually the same things, the game is rigged, there are bots and the staff are playing the tables or the site dont pay out.

There is some truth in all of it but how much no one actually knows and on what sites either.

You can always do a search for a few blacklists and see what sites have been added to them and why. The only problem with this is that most sites have been put on a blacklist somewhere. And not all complaints are genuine.

Even so blacklists are always worth a read, and its quite unbelivable what does go on.
