Hey! I just found this on the Prima Network. They’re running a satellite that will award the winner a buy-in to EVERY event at the WSOP. Pretty much the ultimate satellite tournament. I can’t believe they’re going to buy one player into every event. I figure if I win and put in a good showing I could just quit my job and turn pro. I’m drafting my two-weeks notice as we speak…Just in case.
read the small print.....i'm sure thats the one that is a buyin to every wsop event "under $10000"
nothing for free in this world lol
It's still a bit pointless. Firstly, a lot of the games the average person would be rubbish at. It's probably aimed at the person who only understands Texas HoldEm and would waste the other seats. Secondly you can't win and play in all the events because they run at the same times. Maybe you could show up for like 10 minutes in each one and then go to the next one but you wouldn't win anything.
if i remember rightly they promote it as you can take ya wife/girlfriend or vice versa and they get paid into an event too so its kind of a break for 2 with a seat in all the cheapest games!
Seems to me its just blatant spam from someone working for the Prima network
Although sadly it seems to be turning into the World Series of Holdem, but the guy who's running it now is moving to rectify that. The original schedule for this year was ridiculous and a lot of pro's made their opinions known resulting in the WSOP creating a panel of players/consultants to ensure the players get what they want to see. As a result they've added a $50k buyin HORSE event that a lot of pro's are viewing as the real world championship.Originally Posted by Diceman
And yes this is a stupid idea - for one the WSOP goes on for over 6 weeks and the average person would have a very hard time getting off work for that long.

I read the fine print. It includes the main event as well, but you can't play in events that you aren't allowed to play in. So ex: no guys in the ladies event. As for overlapping events, you have to be there at the start of the event to have the seat paid for, so if you're doing well in one of the prior events you won't get bought into the next one. But then again, if you're doing well, why would you want to leave...On the other hand, if you bust you, it seems that they'll be there ready to pay your seat for the next event you qualify for
