Got to be Pacific Poker for me (same as 888 ), apart from the infamous connection problems, its the only site I've played where they don't show the cards on a showdown! They just rattle out the flop, turn and river and then they show the hands, losing out on all the excitement that could have happened at each stage, well crap or what? Whats the worse site you've played on and why?

Sportingbet had a horrid site, think it has changed since when i ventured there. You could only play 1 table and view 1 table at a time, and the site was always down.

It has come a long way since then thou, and uses same software as this site.

when you download poker.co.uk and also ladbrokes theres a cpl of microgaming cookies in there which arent spyware but a few of the spyware progs think that they are.....deleting them might have caused the software not to run, i doubt it but anythings possible.

I wouldnt worry too much about the microgaming cookies, my add aware always picks it up, and i always delete it.

my new least favourite site is pacific, they have just blocked my account because i hevn't yet proved to them that i am over 18 (they have never asked me to). They want me to scan my drivers license or passport and email it to them (i don't have a scanner).

A copy of the email i sent back:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have received your email telling me that my account has been blocked because I haven't proved to you that I am over 18. Firstly I have never been asked to prove this, secondly I don't own a scanner so I will be unable to send you the ID you want. The upshot of all this is that this is the last straw for me, your sight is frankly dire and I would very much like it if you would cash me out so I can go and play somewhere less ridiculous.

    Thankyou for your time,

    Jon Lyne

P.S. i am 20 years old if it makes any difference to you.

I love the way there is no restriction on depositing or paying rake, regardless of your age. It's only when you come to withdraw your money, and probably leave the site for good, that you encounter problems.
Another good one is when you deposit money in it's no problem, but they say "To withdraw money you will need the passcode. This will be sent to you in the post and may take well, as long as we can possibly take just in case you get bored waiting and try to play again and lose it all Ha ha ha"

    Or something like that anyway.
