Moaning Murtle: and dumb luck is even more fickle
Moaning Murtle: you bet whatever, stupid

As for the hands its self, anyone who's ever played with me know how much I love 75o so I fold this hand < 1% of the time in this spot. I have nearly 3k hands on UTG+1 in my PT DB so know his game fairly well and was fairly sure he has some kind of drawing hand although he will show me a set sometimes here too. He loves to semi bluff but is not normally so aggresive with the flopped nuts even when he should be protecting his hand, I think he waits for a non diamond turn to stick it on most of the time here but he would call with an UTG min raise with something like 86. I had his range down as JJ-44,76, 65 and any two diamonds. I think he views me as aggressive and he knows i'm a winning player. UTG could have been a problem but I think he raises any hand that he can call my 3 bet with on the flop with the execption of an unlikely flush draw which he may now fold anyway.

I don't think this hand was as bad as Murtle thinks it was but I am frequenlty wrong on these things. What do you guys think? Also, my stats for the session so far were 15/8/4, mainly becuase I hadn't been getting any cards, so it's not like i'd been LAGging in up or anything.

nice hand - well done. Great example of tilt from the aptly named moaning murtle.

can you explain the meaning of your "stats" 15/8/4 ??

15 is the percentage of times I have voluntarily put money in to the pot preflop. 8 is the percentage of times I have raised pre flop and 4 is my aggression factor.

The player wasn't actually called Moaning Murtle, I changed his/her name.

He he, VERY nice Woodster!!! "You'll be saying he he when you go broke".... I bet that one tickled your ribs a little. That's tilting/drunken/fighting talk that is.

Are they always this bitter when they lose through their own stupidity???

Do you mean 'called'? As opposed to...

...what is your scale for the aggression factor? Where did you pick this equation up (who came up with it)?

Just interested, as I've seen you use this before, but didn't know what it meant...

Thanks!

Voluntarily put money in means anything other than the blinds if i'm not mistaken, so raises and calls.

spot on.

If i'm raising half the hands i'm playing then my stats look something like 30/15/AF. AF = (Raise + Bet) / Call

If you don't use poker tracker then you aren't serious about winning money playing poker. All stats mentioned are standard PT stats.
