Please pay no attention to how I played this hand, I was on tilt after losing 2 huge pots in about 5 minutes to a 1 outer and a 2 outer and should have stopped playing. This did make me stop, the call was just horrific.

He was a 1.68:1 underdog to win the pot and was getting 1.8:1 on his call so technically his call was correct. But it quite obviously wasn't, he had Q high with the 4th nut flush draw and is an idiot - I'm not too unhappy at this point.
----- TURN ----- [2c Ac 7c][Ts] <- That's ok.
----- RIVER ----- [2c Ac 7c Ts][Td] <- That's not.
----- SHOW DOWN -----
FirePhil: shows [As Qs] (Two Pairs, Aces and Tens, Queen high)
casashoe: shows [Qd Tc] (Three of a kind, Tens, Ace high)
casashoe collected $288 from Main pot
Time to take a couple of days off I think.
Jeez, what site is that on? That looks like a good game![]()
I assume the buy in is $500 but everyone just happened to be short?
It's a hell of a good game, it was on InterPoker (crypto). From what I've seen the play is worse than $1/$2. My bankroll can't support playing that high yet, this was just a bit of a trial while clearing a bonus. The max buy-in is $500 but most people were buying in for ~$200. I bought in for $400 and was at $700 before 3 hands in the space of a few minutes made that $0![]()
The other 2 hands were with 55 on a board of 454X against J4 and he rivered the case 4 and with AA against 55 on a 39K flop rivered a 5. And neither player stayed around to give any of it back. Meh.
thats more than a little harsh, you got well and truely muffed, he called looking for a miracle to take the pot and it hit, normally when you come across a muppet like this you will take their cash, its the one time the fool will get lucky and hit.
Even if you are on tilt having that happen will not help, great idea to take a few days off, that always works, hope it turns for you.
