Hi,
Right i've been playing poker quite a lot since the freeroll we hadNow when i play normally i nearly always leave up but....
When i play in a tournament (multi or single table) i keep getting knocked out quite early on most of the time.
Any obvious reason why this could be? Or just me being inconsistent?
Do you find the players are better at tournaments? This is only £35 buy in max and not big big money.
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
You mean in real life or online tournies? If its real life, sounds like you have a tell which is obvious. Only thing you can do is start using fake tells, looking at people is apparently a good tell, so when you have a good hand, look at the people in the hand!
You'll find me doing similar to this online. Classic is when I have a great hand and know im winning Ill bet all in which looks like I dont want a call, which can get people to call because they think your bluffing... Hope that makes sense!
Thanks
Been playing online only at the moment will maybe move to real life when im more confident. I think i may be playing different in tournaments because you have chips not cash, i know this sounds silly but i think i play better when i know theres $10 down than when theres 1000 chips.
