Hi everyone. How do you pick which room to play in? When I started playing last year I had a tough time picking a room. There wasn’t like an Epinions or Consumer Review for online poker.
My friends are all poker fanatics so we decided to build this players reviews library. If you have any opinions on particular rooms, can you help us out and submit them <snip - please read the rules regarding posting links to your sites>
You can also post your opinions in this thread and I will enter it into our library manually. Please indicate in your post if you would like credit for your rating or if you would like to remain "anonymous."
Detail review are good, but even a quick “thumbs up thumbs down” would help new players.
Thanks!
Annie

you can play in english pounds and pence rather than dollers which i like, but i get soooo many bad beats on wh, i play ladbrookes until i recently gave up playing online, fed up with bad beats to idiots
ur fed up playing against idiots??????
did i just read that right????
i thought one of the main skills of online poker is to get sat with as many idiots as possible.
i'd love to be sat at a table of idiots, given time i'd make a pile.
maybe it was time to give up online poker if you can't beat the idiots!!!
...Hear, hear!
Bring on the idiots...!![]()

I find this an interesting argument really.
Whilst I understand the principle, how do you knock an idiot off a pot if you are trying to represent something you dont have? They usually call with anything.
So as this really negates the point of bluffing, or imposing pot odds on people, doesnt this mean that you are only going to be playing premium hands? and as we all know, the idiots will usually call any preflop raise with anything, then outdraw you on the flop....
How do you play against an "idiot"?
u know exactly how he's gonna play so how hard can it be.
u just said it u can't knock him off a pot, SO WHY TRY???
play premium hands and the few times he out draws you will be far outweighed by the many times he dosen't.
remember if he's drawing to a flush against your made hand, on average he's only going to hit it 1 in every 4, the other 3 times is yours. just play the waiting game.
surely the art of poker is not to play by certain rules all the time but to play by certain rules against certain types of players.
so stop trying to push the idiots off of their hands and let them bet into you every time you have a made hand.
PLEASE CAN I HAVE A TABLE FULL OFF IDIOTS EVERYTIME.
