How did the christmas raffle end up with 20 tickets winning the million pound begin with DG****etc. One started with B and mine was a C. No c's appeared, I would be interested how many A's B's and C's were sold because in any random forcast 20 tickets starting with DG is not random on any planet!!.

My raffles start with DHF; second last from the bottom of the series of winning raffles arranged in alphabetical order.

From what I can determine, they draw from a pool of eligible raffles, the majority of which were allocated to tickets bought on Friday or a few days earlier. However, if someone had bought upto 8 weeks in advance, then the same raffle numbers allocated at the time of purchase will go into the pool of eligible raffles every Friday until the ticket expired.

So from the results, I would say that the DG series of raffles must have been allocated at the peak of sales sometimes on Friday. I bought mine online after 6 pm, and got DHF... and only one winning raffle was drawn matching DHF, but I was about 410,000 tickets away from becoming a millionaire.
