50 and 28. Why ?
The first is the number that appeared most often in 6 years. The second is the one that appeared less often in 6 years.
Because of their particular statistics, many players will choose them. So if they are drawn, there will be many winners, and hence prizes will be largely divided.
For combinations that pay most, avoid these numbers.
What do you think about it ?
The play statistics for the most and least popular numbers may be true, but I'm more than happy to be one of the many winners. In fact, I would very much like to hit any winning numbers at all, given how difficult it is to win a prize in the lotteries.
I think the ideal strategy is one where every number is played, simply because you stand a zero chance of matching any numbers drawn that are not covered in your selection. Unlike roulette wheel where it's pointless to bet on every number, in lottery you have a chance of winning back more than your total bet if you cover the entire range of numbers. Therefore it's a matter of which lottery numbers you want to place heavier bets than others.
By not playing the "popular" numbers, you are restricting your chances to matching with only certain set of numbers drawn; and we know how unco-operative winning lottery numbers are. Besides, instead of waiting 20,000 years for your average jackpot numbers to come up, you may have to wait 40,000 years or more...
Another point to note is that many lottery prizes are fixed, and not divided from pools, such as Thunderball and Daily Play.
Yes, for fixed prizes lottery the strategy doesn't work indeed. However in France the two main lotteries (Euromillions, Loto) do divide the prizes.
The strategy you are describing indeed increases the chance of winning, but it must cost a lot each week to play all numbers ?
Yes it costs too much to play every number in Euromillions, especially when a wheel system is also used. I have not played every number in Euromillions, but I played all 27 numbers in Daily Play.
I can say that until now, I still have not win any big prize. So may be my idea is too good, or I need more time and a lot more money to play.
And if that numbers will be drawn?
Would you be happy to loose a potencial prize only because you have to divide it with many people?
I think it does not make any sense.
I think you should put the numbers that have more chances to be drawn in each week (they are not necesserly the most often appeared); not to avoid specific numbers just because a singular reason.
RENTAP
Rentap,
You say "I think you should put the numbers that have more chances to be drawn in each week". In fact all numbers have the same chance to be drawn.
Now let me put it like this : imagine you play 1 combination each week. Do you prefer to play a combination that has been played by 1000 persons, or a combination that you are the only one to play ?
HI oneWINNER:
In fact the numbers have not the same chance in each week. An ancient discipline of Rule of Probabilities called Sthocastics studies that. If you don`t believe in me you can make a search on-line or read about that. There is a kind of pattern along the months and years that is very difficult to understand completely but in a few frames the investigators can understand a little bit about it.
Hi again
As i was saying i know algorithms that in a consistent way can achieve a permormance about 30% above the average. I also know that NASA has developed some algorithms about this matters during the last decades but i don`t know their performance. The mathematics departments of some Universitys around the world are working on this but the litterature is rare because as you certainly will understand this is a very sensitive question - prediction the future.
RENTAP
OK RENTAP,
if you have any link or information about these algorithms I'm interested to make some analysis of them.
Hi One Winner
Relatively to the algorithms developed by NASA or by the High Schools and University departments I have not access to them but I particularly know some investigators that are doing research on that issues. However books, scientific reports published and related to that work I don`t know nothing. But ultimately I have not made any depth searches. However in other times that is something that was always being doing. But now the scientists have the help of powerful computers.
What I know are two algorithms on which I work for more than 5 years as a Math fan but obviously I cannot share them. But you can follow their performance comparing the results achieved (that I post here weekly) with the results expected on average for each option or set of numbers. In the medium and long term the performance of the algorithms is on average 36% above the expected averages. It is not bad. I assure you that in a year you will receive much more small and medium prizes than if you play only by intuition or birthdays numbers, what else. In same options you will almost pay your entrees. In this week for example for 35 Numbers I made 4 hits and the odds for 35N are 3,4 hits. Obviously some weeks the performance is below the expected odds. But in a couple of months we notice the performance becoming consistently higher than the reference. The same applies on Lucky Stars.
The purpose of this dialog is to kill the idea that all the numbers have the same odds each draw. Definitely they haven`t.
